O. C. Metro Patrol first started under the name of Orange Coast Metro Protection as a partnership in 1988. The first office was based out of a home of the principle owner, and at the time the company was primarily servicing nightclubs and bars in the city of Santa Ana. Very soon thereafter the partnership dissolved and the company became solely owned under its current ownership.
Once the company was a sole ownership, changes were made, starting with obtaining new and higher caliber clientele, and an active effort was made to get away from the nightclubs and bars. The company acquired its first patrol vehicles to form a patrol division and began to service apartment complexes, shopping centers, HOA’s and Commercial Business Parks.
O. C. Metro Patrols first official office was opened up in Garden Grove and from there the company expanded both its patrol and standing guard division. With the help and hard work of several committed security officers, the company began to expand its operations and initiated a towing division and a process service division.
In the early 90’s the company started to feel the effects of the recession and business started to slow immediately after the gulf war. After several years of trying to keep all three operations running, a decision was made that it was best to close up the Towing and Process service divisions of the company and to maintain the security division.
In late 1995, Orange Coast Metro Protection was approached by another local security company that was also struggling from the effects of the recession, and the idea was to merge the two companies into a new partnership to make one stronger company. This idea worked with great success, as the single company was able to rapidly expand their clientele and build a large and impressive company, which was complimented by several key employees who were dedicated, honest, and professional.
In early 1999, the partnership dissolved and once again Orange Coast Metro Protection was a sole ownership company and officially changed its name to O.C. Metro Patrol. It was that year that the company moved into its current location and once again key personnel within the company took their ideas to task and through a cooperative effort, a new and improved company was rebuilt to one of the most recognized and respected security companies in the city of Anaheim as well as the County of Orange. As a result of the hard work and dedication of a select few, the company currently dedicates itself primarily in the Central Orange County area and is focused on being the premier security company for all businesses within the geographical area.
Today O. C. Metro Patrol prides itself as the Premier Security Company in the Orange County area with the Visions and Goals of the 21st century in mind. O. C. Metro Patrol is always looking ahead with cutting edge technology, ideas and methodology of modern Security and Patrol techniques, the Management and Staff of O. C. Metro Patrol are always ahead of the curve when it comes to providing its clients with the most advanced security related trends in the industry.
